Rebecca is an Australian filmmaker and photographer. She graduated from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School with a Masters in Film and TV Directing in 2005 and has worked for close to two decades in the film, television and media industries, both in Australia and abroad, where she specialised in international conflict work. Clients and agencies include the ABC, Foreign Correspondent, BBC, Al Jazeera, the UN, The Monthly Magazine, Reuters, and international NGOs. As a photojournalist, Rebecca's feature work regularly appears in The Australian, The Weekend Australian, The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, ABC News Online and The Canberra Times (amongst others). She is the recipient of a British Council Award, the Qantas Spirit of Youth Award and the European Union Film Award for her films. Her short films and documentaries have screened in over seventy international film festivals and been broadcast by the ABC, SBS, BBC, Al Jazeera and many other international broadcasters.
